Consultant Workshop -- Saturday, May 30th

Sponsored By IEEE-USA Alliance of Consultants' Networks and the IEEE Consultants Network of the Twin Cities.

Attend a full workshop in the Minneapolis area covering a range of topics that are of interest to today's consultants. Topics will include: Improving your networking skills, Consultants and the P.E., Finding clients, and Entrepreneurship.  The workshop will wrap-up with a panel discussion.

Elected Positions

Run monthly membership meetings and the Big Event

Coordinate activities and officers, badger if necessary Cool

Delegate tasks to others in the organization

Appoint Vice Chair positions and Steering Committee.

Call and run ICNTC steering committee meetings (monthly)

Email membership 1 week before each meeting

Write “Chair’s Corner” column each month for newsletter

Maintain status of ICNTC by complying with IEEE membership rules

Everything unfilled officer positions can’t do Innocent

Assist the Chair as needed

Arranges facilities for regular ICNTC monthly meetings

Represents ICNTC at regular, monthly IEEE Section meeting

Complete IEEE Meeting records and turn in at section meetings

Ask IEEE for annual money at section meeting

Report section activity to ICNTC membership

Probably become next years Chair (assuming elected)

Record the monthly meeting minutes

Record steering committee minutes

Writes Last Meeting column for newsletter/web-site

(Manage ICNTC the Post Office box)

Communications with other relevant organizations as needed.

Forward membership forms to Membership Vice Chair

Control the ICNTC bank account.

Pay invoices as received.

Summarize ICNTC finances for the year-end IEEE report.

IEEE-USA Alliance of IEEE Consultants' Networks Coordinating Committee and the IEEE Consultants Network of the Twin Cities invite you to attend a full day Consultant Workshop in the Minneapolis area that will cover a range of issues that will interest consultants. Ever think about becoming a consultant?  Are you a consultant looking to improve your skills?  Then this workshop is for you!  Topics will include improving your networking skills, do consultants need a P.E.?, how to find clients and entrepreneurship. This full day workshop will also include a closing panel discussion where engineering consultants will gather and address any final questions from workshop participants. The workshop will be held on Saturday, May 30th, 2015
